- From your Google Drive, open Pixlr Editor. To do this click on New, then More, then Pixlr Editor. If you do not have Pixlr connected to your Google Drive watch the video on connecting Pixlr to your Google Drive to see how to do that.
- Find an image on Google or from your own files. Make sure to follow Fair Use procedures. The image must have a person or object in the foreground and a background.
- Use the Lasso Tool to copy and paste part of the object to make a second layer with just part of the object. It's best if you do this near the top of your object.
- Add a text layer in a large six font (approx. 100). Rearrange the layer so the text appears to be between the object and the background.
- Once you are finished, save the file to your Pixlr Library and your Google Drive. Also save your original to your Google Drive.
- Once your are ready to turn your project in, make sure you have saved your project to your Google Drive. Turn it in for grading by adding it to your assignment in Google Classroom. Watch the video on submitting your Pixlr Assignments.

- Create a new blank picture. Make it 2000 x 2000 pixels. Use the Gradient Tool to create a gradient background for your project.
- Find another image on Google Images of an object you want to place in your background and make a reflection of. It's best to pick a picture with an all white background.
- Insert the picture with your object into the picture with your gradient background.
- Use the Free Transform option on the Edit menu to change the size of your object as needed. Use the Move Tool to place the object where you want it.
- Use the Magic Wand Tool and the Marquee Tool to delete all the unnecessary background from the layer with the object in it.
- Right click on the layer with your object. Duplicate the layer for your reflection image. Use Flip Layer Vertical on the Layer menu to flip your reflection.
- Use the Move Tool to move your reflection layer so it is directly below your original object.
- Change the Opacity and add a Gaussian Blur to your flipped layer to make it look like a reflection of the first object.
- Once you are finished, save the file to your Pixlr Library and your Google Drive. Also save your original to your Google Drive.
- Once your are ready to turn your project in, make sure you have saved your project to your Google Drive. Turn it in for grading by adding it to your assignment in Google Classroom. Watch the video on submitting your Pixlr Assignments.
