- Open Pixlr Editor. If you connect the app through your Google Drive you will have the option to save your project to your folder in your Google Drive.
- Use your calvaryknights5.org email address to log into Pixlr if you do not already have an account. This will give you the option to save your projects in a Pixlr Library so you can access them from anywhere.
- Find an image on Google or from your own files. Make sure to follow Fair Use procedures.
- Add three different text boxes to your photo. Each text box should have a different font, a different color, and a different size.
- Once you are finished, save the file to your Pixlr Library and your Google Drive. Also save your original to your Google Drive.
- Once your are ready to turn your project in, share both your original and your edited photo with [email protected].

- Open Pixlr Editor from you Google Drive.
- Click on Create a New Image. Make your image 2000 x 2000 pixels.
- Use the Gradient Tool to create either a Linear or Radial gradient background for your project.
- Find an image on Google Images search that you can open as a layer from the URL. Remember, this command is found on the Layer menu.
- Use free transform to resize the picture to the size you want. Leave background and space for a caption below.
- Use the Layer Style to add a Drop Shadow to the layer with your picture.
- Use the Type Tool to add a caption below your picture.
- Use the Layer Style to add an Outside Glow to your text.
- Once you are finished, save the file to your Google Drive.
- Add your project to your assignment in Google Classroom and turn it in through Google Classroom.
