Are you living like a future king or queen today?
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:27 - 28
Since creation, God has given people the honor of sharing with Him the care of His creation. We were given the chance to share in ruling over God's creation with Him. The technical term is to have dominion over it.
In our day, this extends to our digital world. We can choose to let the digital world control us, or we can choose to take control of our digital world. At Calvary Lutheran School we want to teach our students to take control of their digital world by giving them the skills they need to be wise stewards of technology. In a sense we want to teach them to live as kings and queens of the technology that we find around us every day.
This site is the starting point of this training. It will constantly be under development as we add assignments and tip sheets for each grade level. We will also post information for parents on helping their children make wise technology choices at home. Feel free to check back again and again to see what is new.
